Operations Assistant/Dispatch

Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Has onsite responsibility for providing phone and dispatch support during peak operation times within the School Bus Terminal. Respond to inquiries related to student drop-off and pick-up times, basic routing questions and provide general administrative duties. This is a key position providing exceptional customer service, efficient and effective problem-solving.
HOURS – Split Shift
Monday – Friday
5:45/6:00 – 9:00/9:30 AM
1:30/2:00 – 4:30/5:00 PM
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Answer telephones and respond to customer inquiries
- Take effective notes when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Follow-up on request of phone calls with manager
- Communicate with drivers as needed
- Basic administrative tasks to ensure drivers are adequately prepared for routes
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organizational and communication skills, written and verbal. Detail oriented including documentation skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- Able to work effectively and well with diverse groups of people, teamwork

- A strong working knowledge of computers and ability to learn new software programs

Rate – Entry level wage for a non-CDL driver
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License meeting GO Riteway driving standards
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel
