Position Summary: As a Litigation Paralegal at our client's firm, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating complex litigation cases from inception to resolution. Your responsibilities will encompass meticulous case file management, strategic handling of electronically stored information (ESI), and providing invaluable support to the legal team, ensuring the successful execution of case strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Case Management: Take the lead in planning, organizing, and supervising the entire lifecycle of litigation case files, ensuring alignment with case objectives and timelines.
  • ESI Handling: Facilitate the collection, processing, and organization of ESI, leveraging cutting-edge software while maintaining strict compliance with legal protocols.
  • Strategic Support: Draft discovery requests, conduct comprehensive case analyses, and prepare detailed case summaries to fortify legal strategies.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop cost estimates and budgets for litigation cases, contributing to financial analysis and alignment with client guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Expert Litigation Acumen: Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in managing complex litigation cases, showcasing adeptness in legal processes and case management strategies.
  • Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with specialized litigation software like Concordance, Relativity, and Case Notebook.
  • ESI and Document Management Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in handling ESI and document management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational prowess to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, prioritize deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
