Our Pet Segment is seeking Master Data Analyst to be a part of our Central Specialty Pet division based in Chilton, WI. Data integrity is crucial to capturing the value of an ERP system. The Master Data Analyst will be responsible for understanding and executing a workload for data creation, maintenance and analysis within SAP and Specright systems for the business unit. This role will be crucial to data validation, data entry, integration of data as well as providing analysis and reporting for stakeholders to drive positive business results. In this role you will work closely with and support Finance, S&OP, and Procurement in data mining, system integration and use, data integrity, develop analytical reports to drive business success through data-driven insights and analytics.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
  • Data standardization of vendor, customer, and material data, to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
  • Gain a deep understanding of SAP key business processes, workflows, and dependencies between different functional areas.
  • Work with leadership team to make trade-off recommendations and provide value-added thought partnership.
  • Support monitoring of data integrity, process adherence, and issue resolutions.
  • Support the development of reporting, analysis, and ongoing training initiatives to make informed decisions, drive performance improvement, and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Work with business process leads, key stakeholders, and end users to understand end-to-end, cross-functional data requirements for projects and products.
  • Ensure data requirements are captured for products and process changes.
  • Execute master data discovery, extraction, cleansing, conversion, and loading.
  • Support data augmentation as needed.
  • Support data visualization as needed.
  • Participate in business meetings and execute ERP requests.
  • Identify defects and issues with material master data.
  • Support business users with data integrity issues and questions.
  • Integrate, manage and setup new systems to include Specright and Source to Pay systems
    IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
    • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (finance, business, IT, analytics) or relevant working experience in ERP systems.
    • 3+ years of master data and ERP system expertise (SAP superuser)
    • ERP Data extraction, cleansing and loading
    • Advanced user in Excel; including PivotTables, Vlookup, Index/Match and Data Tables.
    • Tableau / BI experience preferred
    • 3+ years of business process experience, including:
      • KPI reporting and data visualization to drive business results
      • Data quality monitoring; master data governance
      • Problem solving skills to identify and resolve the root cause of issues and creativity to drive continuous improvement.
      • Organized and accountable to ensure work is managed and deadlines are met
      • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate in a simple, articulate, thoughtful manner.
      • Financial acumen / Financial reporting experience ideal but wiling to train on systems and processes.

    WORKING CONDITIONS
    Work is performed in an office environment. Hours will generally be regular business hours and average at least 40 hours a week. There may be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines, and other concerns. Periodic travel is required.
